Make your centerpieces for FREE!

Use your imagination and you can very easily make all of your wedding table centerpieces for free. Some examples of materials you could use include shells, sand, pine cones, driftwood or wild flowers, to name but a few. All of these are available for you to collect for free from their natural environment.

Look around your home as well, you'd be surprised at the number of everyday items suitable for temporary use as a wedding table centerpiece idea. How about empty tin cans, bottles or grocery packaging. All these can be decorated with left over wedding gift wrap or turned into novelty vases and centerpiece containers.

Don't be afraid to experiment and use your imagination. Brainstorm with your friends as well and you'll be amazed at some of the ideas which transpire. A piece of driftwood decorated with a few daisies and some shells can look sensational. A tin can containing pebbles and some wild flowers or lollipops for the kids is guaranteed to go down a treat.

Another unusual centerpiece which creates a fabulous talking point is the use of old photographs. Take a sheet of paper card approximately 1 meter long and as high as you want it, depending on the size of your tables. Cover this piece of paper in old photographs, they can be of family members, brides & grooms throughout the generations, the bride and groom as children to the present day, or really anything that takes your fancy. Once you have stuck down all the photographs, roll the paper up end to end and stick together with a piece of sellotape. Stand this rolled up tube as your table centerpiece on its own or you can place a vase of flowers inside if you want to make more of it.
